Apple has announced a new version of full sized iPad called iPad air, with 20% thinner design, 43% thinner bezels and weights just 1pound (28% lighter than previous iPad) will be available 1st November including China.
A desktop class 64-bit architecture A7 chip increases it’s performance up to 8x on CPU side and 72x on the GPU side compared to original iPad. It is worth noting that when apps get optimised for all new 64-bit architecture there is going to be a substantial speed up.
iPad air is also first iOS device to support MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) Wi-Fi technologies. With this Wi-Fi speed increases up to 3 times than iPad 4. Different LTE networks are also supported in iPad air, same as iPhone 5s.
